OBITUARY:
VELDA FRANCES FULCHER
SLATON-- Velda Fulcher, 79, formerly of Abilene, died Wednesday in a Lubbock care facility.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Englunds Funeral Sercie Chapel with Dr. Cleve Kerby and the Rev. Howard Quiett officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Buffalo Gap Cemetery (Buffalo Gap, TX)
Mrs. Fulcher was born in Comanche County and married Truett Fulcher in 1938 in Abilene. She was a former member of the Slaton Art Club. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Huguenot Society of America and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband: one son, Rodney Fyulcher of Abilene; one sister, Garnet Quiett of Snyder; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
