Walter A. Hines, 89, died April 7 in Lizton. Mr. Hines was born March 16, 1910 to Ora P. and Dora Mae (Pratt) Hines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude (Baker) Hines. Nr. Hines was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Hendricks County Coop and the Indiana Mental Health
Association.
Survivors include two sons, Edward and Richard Hines, both of Plainfield; one brother, Donald Hines of Lizton; two sisters, Goldia Seidentop of Valparaiso and Mozella Alexander of Lizton; four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
Services were April 9 at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, with the Rev. Eric Bobbitt officiating. Burial was at the Lizton K of P Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lizton Christian Church.
