In addition to his wife, Chris is survived by his children: Christopher Bachrach Jr., Veronica Bachrach, Joshua Thomas, Daniel Bachrach, Angela Bachrach, and Joann Bachrach; and stepdaughters LeeAnn Carr and Lori Klinger. He was the proud Pop Pop of fourteen grandchildren: Amber, Aiden, Lliam, Alex, Abrianna, Josie, Peyton, Megan, Makenzie, Kiki, Hailey, Brandon Jr., Liyah, and Tatum. Chris is also survived by his brother, Franklin A. Bachrach of Milton, GA; his sister, Deedy Loudermilk of Knoxville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Chris was a loving husband, a proud father, and a devoted Pop Pop. He loved antiquing with JoAnn and collecting cookie jars, going to the beach with his family, and taking his grandchildren to the flea markets, school activities, community events, and the Pottstown carousel. Chris, Dad, Pop Pop always calmly said "We will figure this out." We will, but he will be missed immensely and will always be held dearly in our hearts.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Tower of Health, Pottstown Hospital, especially the COVID unit. Joy Platchek and the whole staff were excellent, very caring, and professional.
A private graveside service will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church on January 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
The family is being served by Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Pottstown, PA 19464.
