Abraham E. Waltemyer CONEWAGO TOWNSHIP Abraham E. Waltemyer, 70, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2006, at his residence. He was the husband of June P. (Eisler) Waltemyer, with whom he celebrated their 25th wedding anni versary on June 26, 2005. Mr. Waltemyer was born in Seven Valleys on June 27, 1935, to the late Abraham J. and Marea M. (Gladfelter) Waltemyer. Abraham was a truck driver for 27 years. He retired from Harris Transport Co. and previously worked for the former Continental Wire and Cable. Mr. Waltemyer developed his own vacation property in Waterfall that later became his home after retirement. He was an avid hunter and sportsman. He loved feeding wildlife at his mountain property and truck driving. He attended Old Paths Baptist Church in Stoverstown. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Debra D. Joseph, Sharon K. Dillon, Beth A. Kinard, and Kelly J. Hake, all of Seven Valleys; two stepchildren, Darlene L. Henze and David E. McGuigan, both of York; three granddaughters, Tiffani A., Brandi L., and Shelbi L. Kinard; and two step grandchildren, Christopher S. Lewis and Kayla L. Henze. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). There will be a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rick Edman officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403-3450.
