Mrs. Jessie Hawkins Wootton, 80, of Winona died November 22 at Tyler Holmes Hospital. She was a retired saleslady, native of Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Hawkins and the widow of the late Leroy Wootton.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Cleary, of Frankfort, Ill.; one son, Edward B. Wootton of Des Plaines, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy King of Pascagoula and Mrs. Eva Adams of Winona; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by Dr. Eugene Barnett at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 25 with burial in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Dr. Bobby Adams, Wayne Adams, Wilburn Hawkins, David Adams, Kenny Adams and Jack Jones.
