Mr. Tyler was thirty eight years old, the son of Mr. Jno. R. and Mrs. F. C. Tyler. On March 3rd. 1908 he was married to Miss Nellie Neal to whom were born five children. January 1st. l916 he was inducted into the office of High Sheriff of the county, which office he has filled faithfully and to the satisfaction of his constituents. He was a member of the Methodist church and lived a moral, upright Christian life, making friends of all who knew him. In his death, the town and county have lost a valued citizen and a worthy officer.
