Graveside services for Donald Barry Taylor 66, of Farmerville, LA will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Barry retired from the Farmerville Police Department after 35 years of faithful service. His fellow officers knew him as "BT". He was a very talented artist who excelled at pen and ink drawings and was an avid reader and enjoyed writing science fiction stories. Over the years, many friends stopped by to borrow movies from Barry's extensive video collection.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Clara Taylor, and sister-in-law, Connie Bennett Taylor. He was born on March 18, 1955 in Farmerville, LA., and passed away on April 29, 2021 in West Monroe, LA.

Survivors include his Father, Yyvern Taylor, brothers, David Y. Taylor (Judy), and Joey Taylor; sister, Christie Reeves (Ken), nieces, Tracy Parnell Tolar (Kevin), Mistie Parnell Simons (Adam), Julie Taylor Spillers (Jason), Katelyn Taylor; nephews, Michael Taylor, Adam Taylor, and Kenny Reeves. He is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Virginia Danna for her kindness and care of Barry after his mother, Clara passed.
