Dennis D. Conrow, 66, of Grandview, MO, passed away on November 1, 2007, at Kingswood Manor after a long battle against cancer. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday, November 5, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Dennis was born May 22, 1941, in Joplin, MO, to Robert and Elsie (Crane) Conrow. He graduated from Joplin High School in 1959, and earned degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri School of Mines at Rolla. His life changed for the better on August 20, 1973, when he married Mary L. Foster. He worked for Bendix Corp., the U.S. Air Force, and KU Medical Center. Always the engineer, he had an intrinsic knack for fixing things, from complicated machinery to home repairs, and many benefited from his expertise in all areas of life. He asked to be remembered as a simple man who loved his family and tried to serve the Lord. Dennis is survived by his loving children Dennis Conrow, Jr., Deborah Fuerst and son-in-law Don, and Lesa Talbott; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his brother Doyle Conrow; and sister Bobbe Roesch.
