Clyde Franklin Gregory, age 84, of Hot Springs, gained his heavenly wings on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
Mr. Gregory is a native of Madison County. For the younger part of his life and after graduating from Hot Springs High School, he joined the U.S Army for which he served for two years. After his service in the Army, he moved out of the county following his employment with Burlington Industries and moved to Hickory to work in an industrial plant there. In 1960 Clyde became employed by Ball Brothers, beginning his career in making glass as well as in management, from which he retired after 38 years. Clyde coached youth football for 18 years for Biltmore and Valley Springs Youth Football programs. Clyde was an active member of Hot Springs First Baptist Church where he served as deacon, loving, and trusting his Heavenly Father. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Isabelle Kent Gregory; a baby sister "little" Hazel and a brother Floyd Gregory.

Mr. Gregory is survived by his widow Edith "Tootsie" Lawson Gregory of the home; daughter Lisa Ehmann (Brady); two sons; Jeff Gregory of Savannah Georgia and Scott Gregory (Tammy) of Kokomo, Indiana; six grandchildren; Amanda Ladner (Alex), Tiffany Ferrarini (Vinnie), Jeremiah Gregory, Michael Shawn Ehmann (Katie), Gavin Gregory (Hannah) and Aaron Gregory; great grandchildren; Kayleigh Harmon (Josiah Young), Emma Harmon, Vincent Ferrarini, Ethan Ladner and Eli Ladner; great great grandchild Kehlani Young; siblings; Jean Bell (Jack), Douglas Gregory (Barbara), Betty Ammons and Clayton Gregory. Several nieces and nephews and special friends Ron and Sandy West.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hot Springs First Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
