Obituary for Alicia B. Espronceda
Alicia B. Espronceda, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, went to be with the Lord on April 23rd, 2021 at the blessed age of 89. She has been reunited with her parents Jose Angel Barbosa and Pomposa Silva, her loving husband of 37 years, Alfonso Espronceda Sr, her son Ruben Espronceda, her grandson Rafael Espronceda and her stepson Alfonso Espronceda Jr. and her brothers Vicente Barbosa and Joe Barbosa.
Alicia loved her children and grandchildren, always praying and encouraging them, even in her own struggles. She never found herself unable to do things for her grandchildren, her passion was cooking for her children and grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed scratch-off Lottery tickets and her little trips to Kickapoo.
Alicia is survived by 4 children; Martha Espronceda, Fred Espronceda, Olga Martinez (George) and Carlos Espronceda. Her grandchildren; Felicia Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Kristen Martinez, Cristi Marascio, Elizabeth Espronceda, Jennifer Espronceda, Andrew Jacob Espronceda, Ramon Espronceda. Her 5 great-grandchildren; Selah, Emeril, Rafael Jr., Brielle and Wilson. She has 2 step-daughters; Vickie Saenz (Joe) and Maria Louisa Moore and a step-daughter-in-law Olga Espronceda and her 4 step-grandchildren; Angie & Joe Jr Saenz, Ila & Stephanie Moore. She is also survived by her Sister Laurentina (Nacho) Barbosa and neices Laura and Lorena, her brother Mario (Susan Fisch). Alicia leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
