He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Virgie Nell Davidson, his other siblings, both sons, Robert Glen Davidson and Roy Scott Davidson, and one step-daughter, Joyce Ford. He is survived by his partner of many years, Elaine Wills of Durant, OK, another step-daughter, Rita Bathrick of San Diego, CA and one adopted daughter Robin Davidson of Dallas.
Scott was a skilled machinist, retiring from Texas Instruments. He was a whiz with any type of engine. He could listen to most car engines and tell you what type of problem it had. He had a small engine repair shop for many years after he retired.
He loved the outdoors whether it was working in the vegetable garden, fishing, or hunting. He was a very good shot and even killed two doves with one shot many years ago. He loved to deer hunt but had to learn that Oklahoma deer are a lot bigger than south Texas deer, so don't shoot the little ones. He preferred his fishing from the bank as he never learned to swim but would fish from the boat as long as he kept his life jacket securely fastened.
Scott was a very kind and patient man. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.
