Wilson - Services for Anna Marie Blodgett, 51, of Wilson are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, April 30, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at the Reck Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Anna was born on Sept. 28, 1969 at Wilson to the late Mr. John Lester Blodgett and Mrs. Beatrice (Whisenhunt) Blodgett. She departed this life on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Ardmore.

Anna was raised in Wilson residing all of her life in this area. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1987. She was employed for several nursing homes for many years and had worked at Dollar General of Lone Grove as a clerk lastly. She always had a great love and care for animals and loved the outdoors. She was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. Anna was baptized at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with the help of her good friend David Gardner. Anna's life revolved around her grandchildren living each day for them.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; grandson, Jacobi Shayne Brown; brothers, Charles and Jack Blodgett and a nephew Coy Blodgett.

Survivors include her daughters, Terri Danielle "Dani" Parks of Ardmore and Anna Nicole "Niki Brown of Purcell; best friend and companion, Billy Van Buskirk of Lone Grove; sisters, Linda Sanders and Margie Shepard and husband Donald, both of Wilson; brother, Jim Blodgett and wife Minnie of Wilson; grandchildren, Madison, Jordan, Dustan, Adley and Teagan; special granny to Aubree and Ava; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Randy Shepard, Jody Blodgett, Dustin Colson, Don Blodgett, Shawn Sanders, and Jaime Blodgett.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
