Funeral services for Mr. Lester Edward Deville will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Deville, with Father Albi Mulloth officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Deville, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Deville, 73, of Deville, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 26, 2021, in his residence.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding horses. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Jane Deville; two brothers, Riley Eugene Deville and Charles Dayton Deville; and one sister, Addie Etta Deville.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Rosalie Ebey Deville, of Deville; three sons, Edward Neil Deville and his wife, Angelia, of Deville, Lester Darnell Deville, of Deville and Chad Randal Deville, of Deville; one daughter, Monica Lane Deville, of Deville; two sisters, Diane Kay LaPrairie, of Deville and Goldie Nell Deville, of Tioga; seven grandchildren, Trey, Cory, Chase, Landon, Dawson, Everett and Beau; and ten great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
