William Mack Williams was born June 6, 1930 to Mallie V and Frankie Sue (Autrey) Williams, in the Bethel Community, south of Whitewright. He married Jessie Lee Franklin, December 16, 1947. He passed away on April 22, 2021, at his home surrounded by family at the age of 90.

Mack or Billy Mack as he was called growing up in the Bethel Community, where he went to grade school and then transferred to Whitewright, graduating in 1947. He worked for Quaker Oats, was a machinist for LTV and a lifelong farmer. He was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mack is survived by his children, Donald Williams and wife Becky of Ector, Ted Williams and wife Debbie of Luella, John Williams and wife Brenda of Whitewright, and Patsy McFatridge of Whitewright. His grandchildren Brett and Darla Williams of Whitewright, J.D.and Cassie Williams of Bells, Aaron and Amy McFatridge of Longview, Connie and Dwayne Henderson of Whitewright, Sara and Mark Trevino of McKinney, Lisa and Jacob Loftin of Anna, Emily and Justin Hillger of Sherman, Ali Shultz of Grapevine. 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Sister, Barbara Wilson of Whitewright and many nieces and nephews.

Mack is proceeded in death by his spouse, Jessie, parents, sister, Laura Jo Alexander, brother, J P Williams, three grandchildren, Jessica McFatridge, Virginia McFatridge and Brannon Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church, Whitewright. Rev Rodney Stanford and Aaron McFatridge will officiate. The family will receive friends for visitation at 1 PM on the day of the funeral, at Bethel Baptist Church,Whitewright.

In lieu of flowers you may donate to Whitewright Alumni Scholarship Fund at Legend Bank or charity of your choice.

Interment will be at a later time, as Mack donated his body to U T. Southwestern for medical science research.
