W. F. HEARD OF INDIANOLA DIES
Had Been Resident of Sunflower County for 51 Years
INDIANOLA, March 31 --Funeral services for W. F. Heard, 71, who died at his home here yesterday morning after a prolonged illness, were held from the Baptist church this morning at 10 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. W. G. Hickman, and interment followed in the Indianola cemetery.
Mr. Heard was married 51 years ago to Josephine Pierce, and moved to Sunflower county at that time. He was a member of the Baptist church and the Woodmen of the World.
He is survived by his wife and three sons and a daughter, Will Heard of Spring Hill, La., Bob Heard of Woodward, Oklahoma, Billy and Norma Heard of Indianola; by two sisters, Kitty Horne of Gulfport and Mrs. Annie Parrish of Marks.
Arrangements were in charge of Kain-Johnson Funeral home.
