Beverly Jeanne Conway, age 84, of Waseca, was called out of this life to life eternal on Saturday, October17, 2020, in Rochester, MN.

Beverly Jeanne Conway was born November 15, 1935 to Aurelius and Della (Meyer) Stencel at home on the Ford farm one mile north of Waldorf. The family moved to Waldorf in 1939 to a two-room house built by her dad. At the beginning of World War II, they moved to Burbank, California where both parents worked at Lockheed and where Beverly made her First Holy Communion at a Catholic school. After the war, they moved back to Waldorf and she started 5th grade, later graduating from high school in 1953.

After graduation, she worked at the Mankato Clinic and married Keith W.F. Conway at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waldorf on November 13, 1954. They lived in Mankato and moved to the farm in 1956 where they were blessed with seven children. Keith died in 1978 and the family stayed on the farm until 1988 when they moved to Waseca. Beverly loved the farm and hated to leave.

Beverly worked at Herter's, E.F. Johnson, and Waseca Community Education. For 17 years she worked at Waseca High School, where she touched the lives of many who appreciated her "tough love," a trait that reflected her concern for people and resulted in achievement for students, several of whom said they would never have graduated without her!

She loved her family and was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Waseca. She also loved the Gophers, Twins, Vikings and Waseca Girls Basketball!

Survivors include seven children and their families, Mike (Mary) Conway – Meghan, Marcus, Martha; Gary (Janet) Conway – Paul, Nicole, Jessie; Susan (Dan) Moen - Ben, Joe and Sam; Dan Conway - Nathan and Jacob; Nancy (Jay) Nicolin - Andrew; Joan Conway; Keith (Jeannine) Conway - Zach and Lewis; seven great grandchildren, Sydney, Ethan, Olivia, Howard, Becca, Lucas, and Emma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Keith, her sister, Yvonne Halverson and an infant brother, Gene, daughter-in-law, Kathy (Welna) Conway and her "best friend," Cooper.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.

Memorial are preferred to the Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund or Mayo Hospice.
