Mrs. Della Huffman
Glade Park - Mrs. Della May Huffman, 77, of Glade Park, died at 4:15 a.m. Sunday in St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs Huffman was born Della May Barker on Feb 4, 1891, at Little Rock, Ark. From there she moved to Pueblo as a child and then lived in Fruita, Utah, California, and Oregon. She returned to live in Fruita 15 years ago.
She married Edwin Ross Huffman at Glenwood Springs on July 12, 1910. Mr. Huffman, a stockman and railroad trainman, died in Grand Junction in 1959.
Surviving are two sons, Carmon of Reedsport, Ore., and W. Darwin of Wenatchee, Wash.; four daughters, Mrs. Mayme Hancock and Mrs. Jack Blasdel, both of Grand Junction, Mrs. George Van Loan of Glade Park, and Mrs. George Hiatt of Dorena, Ore.; a brother; a sister; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grand children.
