Janis Beverly Knerler

Born February 25, 1937 went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday April 23rd. She was so loved by her Husband, children and grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her Mother Dora Mae Jones, her Brother Hugh Jones, her Sister Yvonne Parsons , her nephew Deanie Parsons, grandsons Dylan Michael Kessler-Knerler and Stephen Anthony Knerler Sr. She is also preceded in death by her son-in-law Bill Powell, and family friend and father of Dylan and Ciana, Michael {Mike} Kessler .

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Robert Knerler. Her children Michael Kemp (Jill), Billy Kemp, Ronald Bennett (Stacey), Lawrence Bishop, Edye Salmans, Beverly Flowers (Jeff), Kimberley Knerler, Rebecca Smith (Jack), Gretchen Powell and Phillip Tawanchaya (Derek), her nephew Brandon. Also 24 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

She was a loving mother, wife and Granny. She lived her life raising her children and learned how to pack up in a short amount of time to move across Country or out of the country with kids in tow during the 23 years of her husband Military service.

She was always so kind and loving and always made sure her family was taken care of. She loved Raggee music. Bob Marley was her favorite.

In 2020 she was diagnosed with Leukemia and fought gracefully. She was so strong.

Services with be at Culpeper National Cemetery on Friday April 30th. At 12 noon. Preddys Funeral Home in Orange, Virginia are handling arrangements. Donnie Hughes will be Officiating. Lunch to follow after service in the Town of Orange at Round Hill Inn Hotel. All are welcomed to attend the service and lunch but please use Covid Precautions.
