Russell Yablonski, 88, of Huntingdon, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born in Todd, Pa. of March 2, 1933, a son of the late Andrew and Eva (Mollish) Yablonski. On June 7, 1958, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Rorar) Yablonski who survives at their home.

He is also survived by 2 sisters, Dorothy Berzansky and Barbara Zock. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Pete, Frank, Jack, Marty, and Harry.

He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and then worked at Republic Steel and LTV Steel in Harrisburg for 34 years as a welder.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Shenecoy Sportsman Assoc. in Huntingdon. He was an avid Steeler, Pirate and Penn State fan who had played baseball in Todd in his earlier years an then inducted into the Broad Top Old Timers Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. He was a wonderful husband who loved his family and friends.

Interment at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Broad Top City, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Huntingdon Co. Humane Society, 11371, School House Hollow Road, Huntingdon, PA. 16652.
