Betty Ann Amstutz, 89, passed away April 23, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Betty was born September 15, 1931 in Lima to the late Fair and Minnie (Mills) Dew. On December 9, 1960 she married Lawrence Amstutz who preceded her in death on August 13, 2015.

Betty was a 1949 graduate of Lima Central High School. She worked for thirteen years for City Loan – Lima and also was a cashier for a supermarket for two years while attending high school. Betty was a member of Pandora United Methodist Church and enjoyed working in her flower gardens, dining out and her family pets.

Survivors include two sons, David Amstutz of Findlay, Steven Amstutz of Pandora several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Joan Foster of Pandora.

Betty was preceded in death by four sisters, Frances Becker, Ruth McDermott, Martha Sciranka and Dorothy Mandery.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2021 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services – Bluffton. Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery – Pandora. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
