She had worked as a real estate broker, enjoyed reading and going to the farm to see the horses. She loved her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brothers, Charles (Loretta) Kirkman and Joseph Kirkman; stepson, Stanley (Janice) Lake; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Stanley in 2017; stepsons, Michael Lynn Lake and Vernon Jay Lake; and 14 siblings.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St, Rd, 930 E, New Haven with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.
