James K. Schoppe, 81 years old, of Millerstown, passed away April 19, 2021 at the UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital. He was born December 16, 1939 in Chambersburg PA to Kermit C. and Marjorie (Widel) Schoppe. He was a veteran of the US Navy and member of the Millerstown Lions Club and the Liverpool American Legion. He retired from Bell Telephone as a supervisor after 30 years of service. He then became a Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer for the Pennsylvania Game Commission and loved to hunt and fish. Jim is survived by his wife V. Jane Schoppe and children James F. Schoppe, Robert Schoppe and his wife Lisa of Millerstown. Services will be held Friday at 10 AM at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Please send a donation to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
