Faye Marie Geraci, at West Jefferson Hospital, on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 6:38 p.m. Daughter of the late Anthony E. Geraci Sr. and Bernice Seghers Geraci. Sister of Anthony E. Geraci Jr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ms. Geraci was a 1963 graduate of St. Scholastica Academy, a member of the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Priory from 1963-1992. She began teaching in schools of the Archdiocese of New Orleans in 1966, she received a B.A. degree from Mt. St. Scholastica, Atchison, Kansas in 1970 and a Master's in Religious Education from Loyola in 1982. She taught Mathematics and Religion at St. Scholastica Academy and Religion at Arch Bishop Blenk High School for 25 years. Devoted to the promotion of peace and justice, Faye Marie was an active member of Pax Christi and participated in numerous activities related to this cause.

Relatives and friends of the family, also faculty and students of Arch Bishop Blenk High School are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 8128 Plum St., New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 11 o'clock a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation on Tuesday, May 22 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp in charge of arrangements.
