Joanne Crescentia (Stegner) Herman, 90, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Joanne was born on May 28, 1930 in Honesdale, PA to her late parents Crescentia O'Connell and Edmond Stegner. Joanne was an RN for over 40 years. She loved animals, was a member of the ASPCA, and the VFW. Joanne was predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Herman, brother; James Stegner, sister in law; Delores Stegner, brother in laws; Jack Cusack, and Richard Palmer. Joanne is survived by 3 sons; William Herman, and wife Rony of Elizabeth, Vincent Herman, and wife Lenore of Middletown, Frederick Herman, of Elizabeth, 2 sisters; Marybarbara Palmer, of Honesdale, PA, Nancy Cusack, of Goshen NY, brother; Ed Stegner, of Arizona, 3 grandchildren; Nicole, Angelina, and William Jr.
A visitation for Joanne will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00AM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue, Linden. A funeral service will begin at 10:30AM.
