A native of Pickens County, daughter of the late Tom R. and Bessie Chappell Gilstrap, she was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War, a former employee of Zee-Medical and Wal-Mart of Taylors, and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
Surviving are her special friends, Arlene and Ronnie Pack and their family and several cousins.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Pickens conducted by Rev. Sam Duncan.
