DEADWOOD - Services for May Hedstrom, 94, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John's Episcopal Church in Deadwood. The Rev. Tom Hurley will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Deadwood.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Jolley Brothers Funeral Home in Deadwood.
A memorial has been established to St. John's Church.
Mrs. Hedstrom died Saturday at Santa Paula, Calif.
She was born May 1, 1892, at Central City to Daniel and Emelie Teeter. She was raised in the Central City area where she attended schools.
She married Bert Hedstrom Oct. 29, 1914, at Deadwood. She lived in Deadwood 75 years.
Hedstrom was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, a life member of Deadwood Chapter OES, and the Black Hills Girl Scout Council.
She is survived by two daughters, Jean Kirchenbauer and Betty Thornton, both of Santa Paula, Calif.; one sister, Blanche Wagstaff, Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966.
