Betty Baird Graham

Nashville - A native Nashvillian, Betty was born March 1, 1923 and passed March 16, 2021. Preceded in death by parents Mary Book and A.J. Baird, husband Lewis Spence Graham and sister Martha (Mrs Walter) Green. She is survived by her children, Shirley G. Crawford, Williston, FL, Lewis S. Graham, Jr (Cindy), Nashville, and Alex B. Graham, Perdido Key, FL. Her grandchildren are Ashley C. Turner, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Baird Graham (Carlin), Nashville, and Clayton Graham (Kim), Nashville and 10 great-grandchildren.

After graduating from Ward-Belmont and Vanderbilt University where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Mrs. Graham was active in the Junior League of Nashville, Cumberland Valley Girl Scouts, Centennial Club, Cheekwood, Shadow Hills Garden Club and St. Thomas Hospital Volunteer Services. A charter member of St. George's Episcopal Church, she participated in its many groups, especially the Order of the Daughters of the King.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
