Everett Elmer Dame was the youngest child of William Valentine Dame and Sarah Lincoln Lemons of the Flatwoods community, Laclede County MO. From Lebanon Daily Record, August 4, 1960: EVERETT ELMER DAME 58, of Lebanon died Monday afternoon at Wallace Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Taylor Avenue Church of God with Rev. A.R. Withers officiating. Music was furnished by the church choir. Interment was in the Lebanon City Cemetery with services under the direction of Holman Funeral Home. Escorts were Asa Clayton, Clarence Lindsey, Ivory Hawk, Donald Davison, Rhoder Smith and Lawrence Dame. Everett Dame was born 28 October 1901. He married Nellie Hawk 26 September 1923 and to this union two children were born.
Survivors include his wife Nellie and three granddaughters of the home (Joan, Lois and Kay Rowden) a son William Loran of Lebanon and a daughter Mrs. Lorea Lindsey and four grandsons of Hamersville, Ohio. He also leaves two brothers, Lonnie Dame of Bixby OK and Floyd Dame of Lebanon and two sisters, Mrs. Janie Conn and Mrs. Nerva Appling both of Lebanon a host of other relatives and friends.
