Mrs. John Cameron, who has been ill since last October, died last Friday and was buried in Grandview, Monday, Rev. H. M. Rader, officiating. Florence Wilcoxen was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Wilcoxen and was born in Harrison Township, June 4, 1855. She was married to John Cameron, November 18, 1879, and to them was born one son, Harry Cameron, of Canton, who with Mr. Cameron survive. Mrs. Catherine Weir and William Wilcoxen, both of Carrollton, are surviving brother and sister. The deceased was a member of the Disciple Church, of Augusta. She was a quiet and unassuming in her manner, took great pride in her home and was a kind and affectionate wife and mother. She had been a resident of Carrollton for over fifteen years.
