Mr. Ellis was an Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country. He was a High School and College Basketball Referee for 51 years traveling to nearby cities and states. He was a pilot for many years where he flew his private plane as a hobby. He worked for the Department of Transportation and Development for many years as a Surveyor. After his retirement from DOTD, he began working at H & S Construction Company as a surveyor. Then, he decided to do contract work as a Land Surveyor for the past few years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, his sister, his grandson, and his two great-granddaughters.
