Anna Submit Snell (Mrs. George) Frazell, age 88, died on December 30, 1946 at the home of her son, Eugene, following a brief illness. She had spent Christmas at her son’s home and became ill there.
Anna Submit Snell, one of ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. Livingston Snell, was born on January 15, 1858 in Henderson County, Illinois and spent her girlhood days in her native state. On Nov. 2, 1882, she was united in marriage to George B. Frazell of Monmouth, Ill. To this union six children were born, two sons and four daughters.
In 1884 the family came to Nebraska, locating on a farm northeast of Shelton where they lived until 1928 when they retired and moved to Shelton. 1928 when they retired and moved to Shelton.
Mr Frazell died September 22, 1932.
In early childhood she affiliated with the United Presbyterian Church but later became a member of the Methodist Church. She was a woman who lived a Christian life, was a devoted mother and one who was a kind thoughtful friend to others. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by two children, Harvey Livingston, who died at the age of four and Bernice Pearl, who died at the age of six months.
Surviving children are Eugene F. Frazell of Shelton, Mrs. Jessie Burkerd, of Shelton, Mrs. Milo Faser of Odessa and Mrs. Ernest Soderstrom of Los Angeles, CA. There are eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
