Sept. 14, 1937 – March 29, 2021

On Monday, March 29, Joseph Samuel Salerno Jr., loving husband, father of two and grandfather of five passed away at age 83. Joe was born and raised in Omaha, Neb. He moved to California where he completed his MA at Pepperdine University, where he met his wife, Patricia Salerno and raised their two children, Ray and Gina, in El Dorado Hills, Calif.
Joe loved to travel, loved food but most of all he loved his family. Joe was present for every soccer game, swim meet and anything his children or his grandchildren did. He lived life to the very fullest and if you had ever met him you would never forget him. He was a proud father and grandfather and his family knew they were loved. The memories of Joe will be with us forever and we will smile knowing he has been reunited with his beloved wife Pat of 52 years. Joe's family will continue on his legacy by living life to the fullest and raising their families with pride and lots of love. Joe will be forever in our hearts.
