December 18, 1922 - April 10, 2021
Marjorie Dean Andrews, 98, of Bartlesville, died on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
My mom was born to Dessie Ann Rouse and her father in Richmond, Kansas. Marjorie met Walter Jess Andrews in high school, and it was love at first sight. They married and had a child, Connie. He was so good to her and she was his caregiver towards the end of his life. The couple enjoyed many, many years together until Jim's passing.
During WWII, Marjorie worked for Pratt and Whitney Company making airplane parts. After she raised her children, Marjorie worked as a bridal consultant for Edwards's dress shop and for Lowrey's dress shop in Pennington Hills.
Marjorie was a strong, hardworking woman and loved God. God was her hope, faith and love! Despite her blindness, from age related macular degeneration, she was always there to help in any way. She will me missed so. She could light up everyone's day with a smile.
Angels were surrounding her when she left this world, and now she is Connie's guardian angel and always will be.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, brother and daughter in law, sister-in-law, son, James Walter Andrews and loving grandson Justin A. Hutchinson.
She is survived by her daughter Connie and husband Bob Ginn; granddaughter Heather Jones and husband Mike; great granddaughter Elise; great grandson Preston Jones; Grandson KC Andrews and wife Leslie; great granddaughter Karlie and great grandson Jett and Jackson; great granddaughter Hailey Hutchinson and great grandson Dylan Hutchinson and their stepmom Carrie; nieces Virginia and Barbara Bowman and nephew Richard Bowman and his wife Barb.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 9am to 8pm at Stumpff Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.
