Roy William Collins, 88, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at The Woodlands Healthcare Center, Leesville, Louisiana. Roy was born to William Lloyd Collins and Fannie Mildred Salmon Collins on October 10, 1932, in Minco, Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons Lloyd Collins, Frank Collins, Carl Collins, Floyd Collins; daughters Dixie Markum, Virginia Gilmore, Mary Jo Unruh and husband Errol, brother Bud Collins; sisters Barbara, Linda Harris; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents William Lloyd and Fannie Mildred Salmon; wife Mary Lee Collins; brother Raymond Collins; sister Margorie Souders; grandson D. J. Collins; granddaughter Rachel Reneé Unruh; and great grandchild Alexia Dumbo.
