Helen was the daughter of Charles Edgar Oiler and Anise Delilah Yerian.
She married on May 17, 1919, Jackson County, Ohio, to Willard Stevison.
Note: in the following obituary her grandmother is given as her mother.

Journal-Herald, Wed, April 24, 1985:
Helen L. Stevison, age 84, of McKitterick Heights, Route 35 West, died suddenly 3:30 p.m. Tuesday of a coronary at her home.
A lifelong resident of Jackson, she was a retired practical nurse and a member of the Church of God.
Born in Jackson, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Martha Mixell Yerian Oiler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Stevison; and a son Willard Eugene.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Stevison Jobe of Columbus; and two grand-daughters, Pamela McGoon of Jackson and Penny Hilacel of Miami, Florida.
Friends may call at the Mayhew Funeral Home from 7 until 9 p.m. this evening (Wednesday). Services will be held there 1 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Ralph Wood officiating. Burial will be made in Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Don Sperry and Bob Mayhew.
