Amaziah L. Erwin Died Here Yesterday
Dover- Amaziah L. Erwin died yesterday at the Dover-Wentworth Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Dover April 10, 1888, son of Joseph and Jennie (Brownell) Erwin.
He lived in Rochester before returning to Dover 4 years ago, where he made his home at 6 Mineral drive.
Erwin was a retired employee of the Wyandotte Woolen Mill.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie (Cilley) Erwin of Dover; Two sons, Harry Erwin of Somersworth and James Erwin of Rochester; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Rogers of Dover, Mrs. Helen Bolduc of Somersworth, Mrs. Hazel Riley of Kellen, Texas, Mrs. Dorothy Snow of Eliot, Maine, and Mrs. Mildred Maglione of Somersworth; a brother James Erwin of Beverly, Mass.; two sisters, Miss Mollie Erwin of Dover, and Mrs. Bernice Hollor of Dover; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the McGill funeral home where friends are invited to call Thursday afternoon ad afterwards at their convenience.
Entombment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Tasker and Chesley.
