Betty Darlene Adams passed Sunday June 1, 2014 surrounded by those she loved at Hood River Memorial Hospital. Betty was born July 14, 1928 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Iver and Wilma (Rhoades) Koger, she was 85 years of age at the time of her passing.

Services are planned for 11:00am Monday, June 9th, 2014 at Anderson's Tribute Center (1401 Belmont Ave. Hood River, Oregon 97031) with viewing prior from 9:00am to 11:00am in our chapel, burial to follow the ceremony at Pine Grove Butte Cemetery.

Betty grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, and moved to Hood River, Oregon in 1943. She returned to Pocatello in 1949 where she married and raised her family. In 1970 she and her family returned to Hood River, Oregon where Betty was the happiest and lived there until her death.

She attended Hood River High School.
In Pocatello, Idaho she married Edward Adams March 16, 1950 having their honeymoon in Paris, Paris, Idaho that is ♥ They have been newlyweds ever since, going to bed with a kiss and saying "see you the morning" breakfast prayers included "thank you for another day with my bride"

Betty enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Betty never knew a stranger. She made friends with everyone who came into her life and everyone loved her. She always had fresh cookies baked or a loaf of homemade bread that she would offer to anyone who came to her home…including repairmen. She loved music and always said there was a song to fit every event in life. She loved and trusted the Lord her entire life.

Betty is survived and will be dearly missed by her husband of 64 years Edward Adams, daughters Christine Adams of Vancouver, Washington, Cynthia Poole and spouse Donald of Hood River, Oregon, sons Clinton Adams and spouse Marjie of The Dalles, Oregon, and Clifton Adams of Hood River, Oregon, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathleen Adams, grandson Jacob Poole, brother Clayton Koger, sister Berneda Haight, brother Laurence Koger and her parents.

Memorials are encouraged to be made in Betty's name to Jake Poole Memorial Scholarship in care of H.R.V.H.S F.F.A
