Suffolk County Probate dated 3 Feb 1873, Boston, MA: Harriet S. Crowninshield wrote her Will 18 Jan 1872 and it was proved February following her death. (She died on Tremont St. at the Beacon Hill area in Boston.)

Christ's Church - Longwood: This land was purchased by Hon. David Sears in 1820; homes were built in 1849 on this land, and then decided about 1862 that there should be a "place of worship in this area where one might worship in the unity of the spirit and the bond of peace". The structure is a copy of a church in Colchester, England with modernizations; was finished and opened in 1866, and was/is Episcopalian. There was a crypt built as well for the family of Hon. David Sears. (Longwood is a neighborhood/parish in Brookline, with Brookline being a suburb of Boston.)
