Robert F. Shuman, 72, of Allentown, died July 3, 2013 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. Robert worked as a custodian for the Allentown School District for 35 years until retiring. Born in Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late Dr. John T. and Elsie (Ferriss) Shuman. Robert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. He was a member of the Dream Mile Club in Blakeslee, PA and the Mercantile Club in Emmaus.
Survivors: Brothers: Dr. John F. Shuman of Wyomissing, PA and Dr. Richard F. Shuman of Bartlett, N.H.; four nieces and nephews.
Services: A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 W. Tilghman St. Allentown. Interment will be private.
