JAMES BEAL IS BURIED IN SANDY LAKE CEMETERY

Funeral services in memory of James W. Beal were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the family residence, 122 Main street. In the absence of Dr. Edward G. Schutz, pastor of Trinity M. E. church, of which the deceased was a devoted member for many years, the service was conducted by Dr. Thomas G. Koontz, pastor of the First Presbyterian church.

During the service the minister read the hymn "Lead Kindly Light," and the poem "Immortality," which was a favorite of Mr. Beal's.

Burial was made in the Sandy Lake cemetery, with the following acting as pallbearers: Byron Sutley, Daniel B. Goodwin, E. A. Whipple, J. R. Payne, W. C. Hamilton and W. L. Roess.

The following out-of-town relatives and friends attended the services: Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Beal and family, of Pittsburgh; Dr. and Mrs. E. G. Beal, of Sandy Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Beal, of Clark's Mills; Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Beal, of New Castle; Dr. and Mrs. Morley Beal, of Jamestown, N. Y.; Dr. and Mrs. T. A. Beal, of North East; Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Boylan, of Sheakleyville; Mrs. Mazie Roth and daughter, of Hadley; Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Infield and Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Maitland, of Franklin.
