JAMES ANDERSON
June 20, 1932 - February 23, 2018

James Anderson, 85, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2018. James was raised on a farm and enjoyed farming with his family. He graduated from Burney High School in 1950 and then served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954. During his enlistment, James served in the Korean War. After serving in the Air Force, he spent 40 years as a career truck driver.

James enjoyed playing and watching baseball. He looked forward to it every spring. James enjoyed helping the people in his community where he resided. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his former wife, Sue Anderson; daughter, Julie Charles; son, Aaron Anderson; seven grandchildren, James Charles, Natasha Charles, Chrystal Derrick, Patrick Anderson, Nicholaus Anderson, Ima Anderson, Katie Anderson; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on March 5, 2018 from 2-3 PM with a memorial service at 3 PM at the American Legion Post #79 in Zionsville, IN.
