Funeral for Grant L. Couey, 61, a supervisor at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp., Mead, will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Hennessey-Smith's. Burial will be at Riverside.

Born in Makoti, North Dakota, Mr. Couey lived in this area all his life. He died Thursday in a local hospital.

He had worked at Kaiser since 1948 and became a supervisor in 1952. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Eagles Aerie 2.

Survivors include his wife, Leona E., at the home; his mother, Merle Couey, Spokane; two sons, Charles, Seattle, and Jim, Chattaroy; one daughter, Carol Martin, Rodessa, Louisiana; two sisters, Joyce Daschbach and Valera Holland, both Spokane; and one brother.
