Double Rites Are Set for Crash Victims
Double funeral services will be conducted Wednesday for Raymond W. Conover and his
son-in-law Jacob H. Naglee, 3rd, both killed in an auto accident in Galloway Township about
midnight Saturday.

Conover, 56, of 616 Pitney Rd, Absecon, was a tax assessor in Absecon and also worked
in Hawlett's Hardware Store, Absecon. He was a member of the Absecon Republican Club.

Surviving are his wife Hattie, a daughter Mrs. Irma Naglee, a son Raymond W. 3rd, of Elmira,
a father Leonard W. of Galloway Townsend, and a granddaughter.

Naglee, 32 of Sewell, was a member of the Collingswood Lodge F&AM, and was a lay leader
of Barnsboro Methodist Church.

2 Men Killed in Crash into Auto of Neighbor they were going to Aid.

A tragic circle of Circumstances led to the death of 2 men in a head on collision of 2 cars late Saturday evening.

Dead is Raymond W. Conover, Jr of 616 Pitney Rd, Absecon, one driver and his son-in-law,
Jacob Naglee 3rd 32, of 512 Buckingham Dr. Sewell. The second driver Sherman F. Hayden, 34, of 317 Pennsylvania Ave, Absecon, was still in critical condition at Atlantic City Hospital last night.
