ABBOTT, Marilyn Entered into eternal rest on the evening of December 31, 2001, Marilyn Leavitt Abbott, residence, Charleston, S.C. formerly of Danville, VA. Services will be private. Mrs. Abbott was born August 2, 1935, in Old Town, Maine, the daughter of Emile J. Leavitt and Alice Simard Leavitt. She was of the Catholic faith, graduate of Old Town High School and Husson College, retired travel agent and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Survived by two daughters, Kimberly Abbott Connor and husband Will of Charleston, S.C. and Karen Abbott Everett and husband Bill of Summerville, S.C.; one grand-daughter, Grace Connor of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Emil Leavitt of Old Town, Maine; one sister, Valerie Boudreau of Brewer, Maine. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Assoc., 919 North Michigan Suite 1100, Chicago, Illinois, 60611-1676. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.
