Iva Loraine Anders Hanback was born July 7, 1926 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Loe Ranze and Dessie Pusser Anders. Mrs. Hanback was a retired seamstress. She had worked at Collinwood Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Creekside Church of Christ in Florence, AL.
She was united in marriage to Everett Dalton Hanback and he preceded her in death on July , 7, 1990.
Mrs. Hanback departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Mitchell- Hollingsworth Nursing Center in Florence, AL, at the age of 94 years, 8 months and 24 days.
She is survived by sons, Ricky Hanback, wife, Gay of Section, AL and Lee A. Hanback, wife, Shelby of Florence, AL; daughter, Sheila Swindle, husband, Charles of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Angi Achenbach, husband, Mark, LeeAnn Carrell, husband, J. T. and Steve Hanback; great-grandchildren, Kenze Achenbach, Isaac Achenbach, Caleb Hanback, Colby Hanback and Cora Carrell.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hanback was preceded in death by grandsons, Jody and Justin Hanback; brothers, G.W. and Paul Ray Anders and a sister, Omie Watkins.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Bro. Nesbitt Sanford officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Hanback, Colby Hanback, Isaac Achenbach, Mark Achenbach, J.T. Carrell and Don Lokey.
