She was a member of Williamsburg Baptist Church.
Few people have earned the respect and love as she did. She loved, fed, befriended and took many into her home. She will be dearly missed for years to come.
Betty Jo was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Stinnett, her sons Timothy and Wayne Dale, daughter Rhonda Cogdill, and grandson, John David; as well as her parents Thomas and Annie Ogle, sisters Anna Belle Harmon, Ruby Maples and brothers Junior, Von, Jesse and Cleve Ogle.
She is survived by her daughters Judy Cogdill (Jimmy), Vickie Caughron (Billy), and Cindy Stinnett, her son David Stinnett (June), son-in-law Ted Cogdill; as well as Missy Maples and Reba Cranfield, who she loved as her own. In addition, she is survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, former daughter-in-law Phyllis Stinnett, very special friends Xan and Betty Cogdill and her entire church family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Williamsburg Baptist Church, c/o Xan Cogdill, 1433 Upper Middle Creek Road, Sevierville, TN 37876.
Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday, April 2 in Stinnett McMahan Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Mike Beck and Rev. Chuck Simpson officiating. Following the service there will be a meal provided at Williamsburg Baptist Church.
