Cecil H. Butt was born March 13, 1911 in Moultrie Co. Illinois, the son of John Dale & Lillie Mae Powell Butt. He married Dorothy Ruth Creek Jan. 9, 1937 ~ to this union was born 4 children: Twins: Doris, & Harold who died in infancy , Kenneth & Betty.
Mr. Butts died Sept. 27, 1948 from injuries received in an auto/train accident that occured 1 mile East of Bethany, IL. as he was on his way to work.
