GREENVIEW - Jennie G. Case, age 94, of Greenview, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Jennie was born December 26, 1916 in Athens, the daughter of William and Effie Propst Doggett.

She married Russell Case, and he preceded her in death in February of 1967.

Jennie retired from Allis-Chalmers after nearly 25 years of work.

She loved hunting, fishing, and was an avid outdoors woman. Jennie enjoyed playing bingo and bowling.

Jennie is survived by two daughters, Jeanene (Thomas) Johnson of Greenview and Sharon (Thurman) Ingram of Cantrall; one son, Richard (Georgia) Case of Browning, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Hooker of Tennessee; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 10, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Greenview Christian Church. Mott & Henning Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Rev. Blake Canterbury will be officiating.

Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.

Memorials can be made to the Greenview Christian Church.
