MAZOMANIE- Funeral service for Lawrence E. Post, 22, who died Thursday in a Madison hospital from injuries received Saturday at about 3.10 a m. during a car pushing episode on Highway 14 just west of Mazomanie, near Club 14, will be held here Saturday.
Coroner Clyde Jr. said preliminary reports indicate that Mr. Post was riding on the trunk of a car being pushed by another car and fell off causing severe head injuries. The death is still under investigation, Chamberlain said.
Surviving Mr. Post are his parents Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence H. Post, Route 1, Mazomanie, two brothers Eddie and Mickey at home; three sisters, Mrs. John Huseby, Route 1 Mazomanie, and Karen and Kristine, at home; and his grandmothers Mrs. Agnes Mathison, Verona and Mrs. Ida Post, Avoca.
The funeral will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday in St. John Lutheran Church, with The Reverend Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the Avoca Cemetery.
