Diana Susan Wigal, 62, of Parkersburg died Oct. 22, 2005, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born Aug. 9, 1943, in Spencer, a daughter of the late Brooks and Flossie Price Greathouse. She was a 1961 graduate of Parkersburg High School and previously worked for H&R Block and Stout Drug Store. She was involved in many activities including being instrumental in starting the Lubeck Bingo in south Parkersburg and serving others in many ways. She was an avid candy maker and was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren, especially caring for, baking with and playing with Cheyanna.
She is survived by six children, Christina Dellinger and husband, Chris, Stella Kelley and husband, John, Joella Collins and husband, Rick, Sterling Wigal and wife, Tammy, Jerry Wigal and Paula Jett and husband, Steve; seven grandchildren, Cheyanna Dellinger, Jeffrey Kelley, Jessica Collins, Dalton Wigal, Mindy Lott, James Carpenter and Michelle Jett; two sisters, Barbara Fowler and husband, Randy, and Sally Snyder; brother, Jack Greathouse and wife, Shirley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Wigal; and brother, William Greathouse.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Bernard Thrash officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
